Last Broadcast of the Season

It was a very succesful broadcast. Alot of great listeners, cross atlantic support and of course great music! Sadly it was the last broadcast for this season, as we do close for summer. It has been a great year for all of us ( music wise I mean! Things are going from bad to worse here in Greece) and Indiegroundradio has been FLYING! I want to thank you ALL for your great support! We are always glad to play music you enjoy, and that gives us of course the opportunity to continue this non- commersial way of online radio. Don't forget to check out our DJ sets and the variety of lives taking place in Athens, in other cities of the country.

The blog will remain active, since I'll write about lives, releases etc. See you again soon! BIG LOVE !

Back to black Broadcast 11/4

Remember when I said that every broadcast will be different since they depend on my feminine moodswings? Well this broadcast was something like that. I enjoyed it though. It's one of those times, when I just set the speakers in the studio on max volume (ok ok not max but almost, the studio has neighbours you know) and just relaxed.. Data Romance

In these wild times, sci- fi seems like romance. Digital times, brings me into a new music world. I was never a pure fan of electronic music, trip hop was though one of the genres I could really relax with. Bands like Massive Attack, Portishead, DJ Shadow, Tricky, made me feel kinda safe in this digital music.. And I call it digital due to the fact that I prefer the old fashion traditional instruments.. Time goes by, and as it does, it transforms everything in it's way. And, one of the things it transforms first, is the music...

As I have been swimming in this digital music for a few days now, I came across a the canadian duo. Data Romance. They released their debut, first full lenght, by the name "Other" 2 weeks ago. I fell in love with it. It reminds me of why I like this kind of music during the summertime.

Love-o-matic Playlist 14/2

Cheeezy greasy, what ever. St Valentine's day was, is and will always be the most commercial day, with more haters than lovers, and more non-havers than havers. I got confused when I realised that the Captain on Air broadcast would actually come off on valentine's day, since I wasnt quite sure if I should go with the flow and play romantic songs, or not... A dear friend of mine had a great idea which saved me though. (he always acts like a saviour. He is like a modern Messiah from times to times).. He suggested that I should play what ever I wanted, as long as it had the word "Love" in it. SAID AND DONE! So here you have my love-o-matic playlist of Captain on Air broadcast at Indiegroundradio.
