Live.Love.Listen.

A curious mind, or a rather brave one, might be able to try living in a musicless world. Im afraid, Ι'm not brave enough to make such a bold experiment. I do believe that music, is the optimal human expression of feelings and thoughts. And by music, I do not mean  an organised attempt to follow out a song or a composition, but every compatible sound, that can actually cause, express, enhance or even supress an emotion. I have discussed many times with friends, about the notion of music. And we always conclude by the unanswered dilemma/ question,
- If you could chose, what would you rather be, blind or deaf?
Needless to say that I am greatful for my fully functional organs and senses, but I think, (and may I never (and noone else for that matter) need to chose), that I would rather go blind, than have to live the rest of my life without my music. A can not play an instrument, I do not sing, I can not read notes, and I am clueless when it comes to the practical implementation of music, BUT music is the first thing I listen to when I wake up, and last thing before going to sleep. I can not recall one single day without listening to an album, or for the really lazy days, just adjusting to shuffle, and whoops a little private suprise music party has been thrown. From Converge to Jack Johnson, back to Black Sabbath, over to Refused and some Lykke Li in the middle.
I am definitely not a genre lover. I do prefer listening to everything, without boundaries. I prefer listening to the music that express me just that moment, and it wouldnt be timid saying that I am moody. I prefer searching for what seems qualitative in my ears, what seems sincere and genuine.

I dont know what the purpose of this post is, I guess I just needed to get it out of my system. And I am pretty sure, that I am not the only one feeling the same way. (no I do not believe that I am a unique music lover)

Just as the rain drops seem to play their own concert on the crappy built road outside, I would like to share an equally broody music section with the great Robert Cray and his band, from the Tiny Desk Concert.
